The first steps in setting up financial gain for your kids is to set up a youth savings account. I found some great ones from our local Denver credit union Sooper Credit Union of Denver Colorado.
What I found for the kids
Kirby Kangaroo Club (savings account for kids age 12 years and under)
CU Succeed for Teens (savings account for teens age 13 through 17 years)
All of these savings accounts can be opened by a parent or guardian just like a basic savings account with an initial deposit of $5.00.
They also have a wonderful web site with a consumer oriented program designed primarily to teach teens and young adults about money, financial responsibility and the realities of the free enterprise system.
Fun added plus marks
- Free websites to help educate your children
 - Newsletters that are fun and educational
 - Program bonus for savings
 - Access at any CU Service Center location

If you know of any other great ways to help children save or learn about money please post a reply and if this was information you liked share it with others.
